Frustrating weekend...but somehow I survived!
It turned out to be a frustrating weekend. Here's why:
- Canadian boys lost to the Swiss yesterday. THE SWISS!! Yes, their goalie did play really well, but the Swiss aren't exactly known for their hockey...their cheese maybe, but not hockey.
- Then they lost to Finland today. Ok, that's not quite as embarrassing - the Fins have a good team. But still, that's two days in a row. And in the second & third periods, Canada really stepped it up after a shitty first period, and had so many good chances, but just couldn't score a goal!
- tomorrow against the Czech isn't going to be easy either.
- then there's the whole story of the fire in the oven yesterday
- I did laundry today, and I had bought new jogging pants for the gym a little while ago, and washed them today - getting light blue fuzzies all over everything else!!
- my one tank top also got caught around something in the washing machine, and the spaghetti strap got all stretched out. After I dried it, it went back to normal length, but the stitching's a little frayed now. I guess I just can't wear it by itself. And yes, despite the fact that it's winter in Canada, I am washing tank tops - I never ever wear just one shirt, and a lot of the time, wear a tank top underneath whatever else I'm wearing!
On happy news, my bathroom is nice & clean. My room still is not. I also did not wake up at 9:30am this morning like I normally do on weekends, but instead got up around 12:15-12:30. Late for me, but I also went to bed at 5am!
Hopefully this won't be an indicator of how the rest of the week will be...

cross stitching is awesome!!
I used to do it a lot in high school, taking it up again wouldn't be a bad idea.
