Rambles of my life

I'm alive...so alive!

*sings* "I don't know what colour your eyes are baby but your hair is long & brown..."

Bonus points for anyone who can name the song & artist!

But yes, I am alive. And kicking. Been a busy, fun, and difficult term. Hard to believe only 3 weeks of classes left - oy! Here are some highlights since my last real post:

- Country Jamboree at Pumphouse, followed by going to the Spur
- Ran 24-hour Scunt, which went super-well!
- quite a bit of swing dancing
- one night of salsa dancing
- Thanksgiving
- midterms came & went
- Potato Opening Party (oh such good times!)
- 2-piece party
- end of midterms = clubbing & drinking a helluva lot that night (so much that I don't recall falling asleep on Pete's couch!)
- Geoff's birthday
- Halloween
- wild night at the Spur (singing Roxanne with Pete & Ash, Pete trying to one-line it home & climb the fence, a bunch of us climbing the pyramid of barrels outside of Seagram's!)
- seeing Beauty & the Beast: the Musical in St Jacob's (AWESOME!!)
- Wine & Cheese party at Pumphouse last night (wow...wine affects me a helluva lot harder than hard liquor!)
- a few other parties, clubbing nights, and all that jazz
- bloody hard courses, assignments galore, not to mention a lot of coffee/bubble tea/etc

All in all, been an up & down term, mood-wise. A lot of things just seem so odd. Seems to be a new circle of friends, who I have fun with, but I don't feel like I talk to any of them *that* much on a more personal level. Plus there are a few other weird things that I don't feel like mentioning here. Even my class seems odd - some people are gone on exchange, we have a bunch of new people from the year above/exchange students, and a few other people aren't here for other reasons. But whatever. It's soon over. Already. I still don't have a job for next term yet. But a few interviews this week will hopefully change that.

Anyhoo, back to this damn numerical methods assignment I go, so I can go to bed earlier to recover more from last night :P Maybe it'll take less than a month & a half before I update again! ;)

  • Yay! Glad to hear you're alive! :) I was beginning to wonder if Canada had been sucked into an alternate internet-less dimension. Keep the blog's comin'. :)
