Travel Talk
My friend Lou is taking off today for Europe. My friend Janet is taking off on Thursday for China. My roommate Lucas is taking off in 12 days for Europe. My brother's been to over 20 countries. *sniff* I wanna travel again!!
I know I shouldn't complain, nor be jealous - it was only 8 short months ago that I spent my second day in fabulous Australia. But I am jealous. There's so much more to the world outside of Southern Ontario. I'm not even one that really cares if I go to a resort in the Carribbean - I want to see Asia! I want to see Africa! I'd like to see more of Australia, or go to Europe, and I think South America would have some pretty cool things to see. But, for cheaper, I'd even go travel to other parts of Canada (I haven't been west yet...although I think we might go for a couple weeks next summer) ... I went east when I was 8, so I'd go there again. Someday, when I graduate & have money (or work overseas), I'll see the world some more! Till then, I'll just dream & read about it :)

I completely understand what you mean Jill. I felt the same way - I've never been outside of Canada except for once when I was in grade 5, and that was only to the states. That's why I signed up for the Hong Kong exchange.
But as you say, you'll have all the opportunities in the world (no pun intended) to travel after graduation. :) Work at it, and anything will be possible! (I sound like a cheesy travel poster.)
